 | In September 2000, Lenny Ben-David established I*Consult, Inc., a consulting office in Washington and Jerusalem dealing with government and business affairs. I*Consult serves a wide variety of American, Israeli, and international clients. Mr. Ben-David serves as its director.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appointed Mr. Ben-David to be deputy chief of mission in Washington in 1997. In his three years at the Israeli Embassy, he served under three ambassadors and two prime ministers.

Mr. Ben-David also held senior posts in the American Israel Public Affairs Committee for 25 years, in both Washington and Israel. He opened AIPAC's first Israel office in 1982, directing it for almost 15 years. In that capacity, he coordinated the visits of hundreds of members of Congress and political delegations to Israel.
Mr. Ben-David’s analyses and columns have appeared in numerous American and Israeli newspapers. He has appeared on television interview shows, including CNN, Fox News, and PBS’ NewsHour.
Mr. Ben-David is a graduate of Yeshiva University in New York. He received his Masters degree in Political Science from the American University in Washington. He was born in Washington, DC, and is married to Rochelle Black of Washington.
